Brock Hatch began his career at Advent Companies in 2004 as a Superintendent. He went on to become Senior Project Manager, Vice President of Operations, and then President in 2012, ultimately founding Rockwood Construction as the continuation of Advent. Mr. Hatch has extensive experience from the ground up, having overseen the completion of more than 5,000 units across California in a multitude of site conditions and jurisdictions. His ability to manage multiple projects, identify inefficiencies, work well with people, and solve problems ensures that each project is well planned, well executed, and well staffed. Mr. Hatch is knowledgeable in all phases of multi-family construction, including Type V and Type III slab on grade, concrete podium, wrap style parking garage and wood podium product types. Mr. Hatch graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Commercial Building Inspector, a Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control, and Sigma Lamda Chi in Construction Management Honors Society. He is also fluent in reading and speaking Spanish.
Jason Donohue joined Advent Companies in 2004. At Advent, he has worked as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, and ultimately as Vice President. He became the Vice President of Rockwood Construction in 2017. He is a LEED Green Associate, a Certified Commercial Building Inspector and a member of USGBC. Mr. Donohue has worked on over 3500 units throughout the state of California. He excels at providing and maintaining budgets, building schedules, and negotiating contracts. Mr. Donohue graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University as well as a Master of Business degree with an emphasis in Finance from Pepperdine University. Mr. Donohue is proficient in reading and speaking Spanish.
Brian Bruschke is a senior project manager with more than seventeen years of multifamily construction experience, many of those years spent managing projects in Northern California. Mr. Bruschke’s experience ranges from two story slab on grade projects to four story podium projects over two levels of subterranean parking. He is traditionally in charge of the more complicated and technically challenging projects. Mr. Bruschke is passionate about his work, extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of multi-family construction, takes complete ownership of his projects with absolute integrity, and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. He also has a long standing record of completing projects under budget and on time. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management with a Minor in Business from Brigham Young University. Mr. Bruschke is fluent in Spanish.
Jason Rippon began his career with Okland Construction, where he received ground-up construction management experience in Healthcare, Office, Educational, and Institutional facilities throughout Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. In 2010, Mr. Rippon moved to California where he headed up the scheduling department for Suffolk Construction for all West Coast operations. In 2013, Mr. Rippon began working for Lennar Multifamily Communities, where he managed both self-perform and third-party general contractors in Northern and Southern California and Arizona markets, overseeing the construction of 1,600 apartment units. Mr. Rippon has experience managing Type III and Type I high-rise apartment buildings. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and a Minor in Business from Brigham Young University.
Jon Trzepkowski joined Advent Companies in 2006 and has been a very successful superintendent on many projects throughout California. As General Superintendent for Rockwood Construction, Mr. Trzepkowski oversees the day-to-day field operations for the company and helps manage our highest priority issues. He ensures that our job sites are safe and well organized and that our subcontractors are sequenced as efficiently as possible to maintain our aggressive schedules. This includes managing material lead times, proactively identifying constructability issues, achieving the highest quality standards through submittal review and QC inspections and maintaining a zero tolerance policy for safety violations. Mr. Trzepkowski is extremely knowledgeable in all phases of multi-family slab on grade, wrap and podium construction, from onsite/offsite work to interior finishes and project closeout/turnover. Mr. Trzepkowski is OSHA and SWPPP certified and possesses strong ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and cost.
Brett Campbell joined Advent Companies in 2012. He has managed more than 1200 units, including all phases of multiple projects from design development to completion, such as design review, purchasing, contracting, documentation, payment applications, negotiations and dispute resolution. He oversees other project managers in every aspect of operations on multiple construction projects. Mr. Campbell graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University, Idaho. He is a member of the Architecture and Construction Management Society and is OSHA certified.
